Community Sourced Pt 1.

Hello everyone and welcome back once again to The Local Medias. As I stated in the last blog post, these next two posts from Circle Coffee will be on the same "topic" just split into two different parts. This is because I think that both posts from Circle, while similar, deserve a separate conversation.

Today I will discuss Circle Coffee's post, thanking Nicole Conroy for the art piece she made for Circle Coffee and its new building.

The unique thing about Nicole having made this art piece for Circle Coffee is that she is a "Topeka native". The art piece is actually two pieces, consisting of a vine with leaves spreading across both frames with a mixture of orange and white surrounding it. In the post, David Vincent is quoted saying that he told Nicole a few years ago "if I ever open a shop, your work is the first thing going on our walls". The photos in the post act as a cool sort of montage of Nicole making the art, placing it on the wall, and the finished product. This post is a very wholesome thank you to Nicole but it also goes a bit further.

Circle Coffee's post was also another way to showcase just how much it supports the Topeka community. You don't often see big brands and businesses supporting local people much less local artists. This post goes to show just how invested Circle Coffee actually is in Topeka and its people.

Thank you guys yet again for stopping by The Local Medias! I hope you all enjoyed today's post. I'll see you next time for part two of this post.

Especially when it comes to how they advertise themselves. Here, I will be discussing and analyzing one of my favorite local coffee shops in Topeka Kansas, Circle Coffee Co. Circle Coffee has also been very prominent on its Facebook and Instagram accounts. They post new menu items, updates, and share posts from customers who visit.  Advertisements of businesses, specifically local companies, always intrigue me and catch my attention. This blog has two main goals. One is to spread awareness of local businesses and their personalized social media. Local companies like Circle Coffee deserve to be seen and appreciat...
